Are you vegan? 

I am indeed a passionate vegan. My vegan journey began in 2019, and I’ve never looked back—100% vegan for the animals, vegan for the planet, and vegan for life.

Can I trust Rebel V? 

Our checkout uses Paypal and Stripe ShopWired’s recommended payment platform for 100% safe and secure transactions. We want you to love your items, so if something is not perfect or you have any problems, drop us an email, and we will do everything we can to rectify things or give you a full refund. 

If you change your mind, you can return items for a refund or exchange within 14 days of receipt. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us. For more information, see our refund policy. 

Before returning any items, please make sure they are unused and in a saleable condition, with any labels and tags still attached. To get started with your return, please email gemma@rebelv.co.uk. We're here to help!

Are all your t shirts made with 100% organic cotton?

Our premium t shirts are made using only 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton comes from seeds that have not been genetically modified and are grown without chemical pesticides or fertilisers.

We use no polyester, so we are a 100% plant-based clothing brand. Our PETA approved t shirts are both GOTS, and Fair Wear certified. You can be safe in the knowledge that by buying sustainable vegan clothing from us, you will be supporting;

• NO child labour.

• NO forced labour.

• Safe & healthy working conditions.

• A living wage.

How about the print on your t shirts? Is that plant-based too?

Our premium t shirts are screen printed with water-based inks exclusively. These inks have good environmental credentials and produce a high-quality non-plastic finish. They are also PETA approved. 

The screen printing process is still unrivalled in terms of print quality. Screen printing offers wash fastness, a soft hand, and consistent results. This means your cool and trendy t shirt will be super soft and will continue to look good wash after wash. 

Do I have to pay for delivery?

We offer free delivery on all UK orders. For delivery to mainland Europe, it's £9.95. For delivery to the rest of the world, it's £13.95. All items will be shipped using Royal Mail. For more information, see our delivery & returns page. 

How environmentally friendly are your mailers?

After hours of research, we think we've found the perfect mailer! The compostable mailer from wastebased.co is a home compostable, carbon-negative alternative to traditional poly mailers. Dispose of used bags in a compost bin with food scraps and garden waste, and they’ll break down into rich garden compost in about six months! 

Each bag comes with two straightforward and secure peel and seal adhesive strips (one for us to post the bag to you and one for zero waste returns).

Each bag is carbon negative, and by using them, we contribute to mangrove estuary regeneration in Madagascar and help draw CO2 out of the atmosphere.

The compostable mailer will biodegrade in a home compost bin or under industrial composting conditions.

How environmentally friendly are your shipping labels?

Our postage labels are made with paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC), using a thermal printed design, and finished with non-toxic plant-based adhesive. Our shipping labels are 100% home compostable. That means your label doesn't have to end up in a landfill!

What’s so special about your garment labels?

We thought very long and hard about whether or not to use garment labels on our clothing. As soon as you get your item, you remove and dispose of the label, right? Well, not anymore. You pull our labels and plant them! Yes, you heard that right you plant them. Our labels are manufactured from seed paper, using special ECO paper (made from post-consumer materials) embedded with wildflowers. Once used, plant the paper in soil and whilst the seeds germinate, the paper biodegrades with no waste left behind. All seeds comply with IPPC and EPPO standards for growth in European countries and are NON-GMO. Please refer to our seed paper planting guide for complete instructions. 

How will my items be packaged?

We didn’t want to use polybags, so your items will be hand wrapped in tissue paper and secured with one of our branded stickers. Our tissue paper is recycled, PH neutral, vegan and recyclable. Our stickers are printed with plant-based ink, and the adhesive is, of course, vegan-friendly. We are proud to be plastic-free. 

How should I wash my organic cotton t shirt?

We recommend washing with similar colours and only when necessary. For best results, wash inside out at 30°. This will prolong the life of your ethical t shirt and cut down on your energy usage. Win-win. For more detailed advice, see our garment care page. 

Are your invoices printed with plant-based inks?

Yes. It wasn’t easy as plant-based printer inks are not yet widely available, but we managed it. Hours spent searching on Ecosia.org! 

Our invoices are printed on paper made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, using a chlorine-free whitening process

Top tip: turn your invoice over before you put it in the recycling bin—something to keep the little ones occupied or to calm and de-stress you. 

How long will my order take to arrive? 

We hand pack and dispatch orders the same day whenever possible. Once dispatched via Royal Mail, you can expect your order within:

• 1-2 business days - UK

• 3-5 business days - Europe

• 5-7 business days - Rest of the world.

Are you planning any more designs?

We have plenty of cool designs in mind. Our resident design experts AKA my lovely children, approve each design. Once I have found my feet I hope to expand our range of vegan clothing. 

Do you sell vegan hoodies and sweatshirts?

Rebel V is a small (just me) company. We have plans for both vegan hoodies and vegan sweatshirts but don’t want to run before we can walk. I’m starting small but have big plans! Watch this space, rebels. 

Are your t shirts only for vegans?

Our t shirts are 100% plant-based and vegan, but you don’t have to be. Vegan, plant-based, environmentally conscious, everybody’s welcome here. We offer t shirts with ecologically focused designs alongside t shirts with subtle vegan messaging. All our clothing is unisex and suitable for all ages. If you want a high-quality, timeless t shirt that has been sustainably made, we've got you. If you want a stylish slogan t shirt that actively promotes veganism, we’ve got you too. Do you print on demand or carry stock?

We felt that using a print on demand service would mean losing the personal touch on which we pride ourselves. Every order is hand-picked and hand-wrapped. Our packaging, mailers, stickers, labels, garment tags and even our invoice layouts have all been carefully thought out and extensively researched. Our premium t shirts are of the highest quality, and our screen printing company is UK based and consistently produces work of an extremely high standard. Carrying stock also means a rapid turnaround. Your order will be packaged and shipped the same day wherever possible. 

Do you miss bacon?
